The Starr Foundation grantee, SHOFCO (Shining Hope for Communities) has received Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s prestigious Hilton Humanitarian Prize. This is the world’s largest annual humanitarian award for nonprofits that have made extraordinary contributions toward alleviating human suffering. SHOFCO was selected by an international panel of distinguished jurors and is the youngest organization to ever receive the award.

The Hilton Prize is a powerful recognition of how far SHOFCO has come since its humble beginnings.

SHOFCO has reached nearly 220,000 individuals across six urban slums, working towards the goal of reaching 1 million individuals by 2030.
